Subj: CGC VANCE (WDE-487); commissioning of
1. When habitable and personnel are available for manning, request the Commander, Florida Group, Atlantic Reserve Fleet, U.S. Naval Station, Green Cove Springs, Florida, to place the CGC VANCE (WDE-487) in commission with appropriate ceremonies as a vessel of the United States Coast Guard and transfer custody to the Commanding Officer.
2. Advise the Commandant (OFU_ the time and date subject vessel is placed in commission.
3. Effective on commissioning the permanent station of the VANCE is hereby designated Honolulu, T.H. This order constitutes a permanent change of station for personnel entitled thereto from their last permanent station to Honolulu.
